Jerry Jeff Walker (innate March 16, 1942) is a country music singer.

Walker was natural Ronald Clyde Crosby around Oneonta, New York. He spent his early folk music days in Greenwich Village in the mid 1960s, and then mostly associated by owning a united states-rock Texas outlaw scene around Austin, Texas in the 1970s that included Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Waylon Jennings, and others. A select few of the songs he wrote or even performed include: "Mr. Bojangles" (written by Walker), "LA Freeway" (written by Guy Clark), & "Redneck Mother" (written by Ray Wylie Hubbard).

The string of records for MCA and Elektra followed Jerry Jeff's move to Austin, before he gave au fait the mainstream music business & formed his have independent record label, Tried & True Music, in 1986. a series of more and more autobiographical records followed under the Tried & True imprint.
